Job Description
The Center for AI Safety is seeking a Senior Research Scientist to lead and execute high-impact research that advances the safety and reliability of frontier AI systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning and AI safety, with experience in designing and running experiments, building tooling, and publishing research.
Requirements
- PhD student or researcher in machine learning or a related field
- Co-authored at least one paper published at a top ML conference venue
- Empirical research experience in AI or ML, particularly in AI safety-relevant areas
- Familiarity with relevant frameworks and libraries (e.g., PyTorch)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
