Job Description
The Physical Therapist Assistant will carry out physical therapy participant programs, assist in planning and revising program services, provide teaching to participants, caregivers and staff, and participate as a member of the multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Assist the physical therapist in carrying out a plan of care
- Treat participants to relieve pain and develop or restore function
- Instruct participants and caregivers in the care and use of wheelchairs, braces, walkers, crutches, canes, assistive/adaptive equipment and prosthetic and orthotic devices
- Maintain confidentiality of company procedures, results, and information about participants, clients or families
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow CEI's Safety Policies and Procedures
