Rehabilitation Aide

The Rehabilitation Aide works under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Registered Nurse to carry out exercise programs for CEI participants. Provides direct care, maintains treatment areas and equipment, performs clerical duties, and assists with supportive services.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• 1 year experience working in a rehabilitation setting with the frail elderly (preferred)
• Proficient in use of computers including basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
• Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to work with clients of varying cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain CPR certification within three months of employment
• Valid California driver's license, current vehicle insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle
• Ability to travel to multiple work sites and participants' residences
