Job Description
The Social Media Specialist creates engaging social media content that showcases CEI's mission, culture, and community impact. The ideal candidate is a talented creator with technical and design skills that help them bring their creative ideas to life.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, media studies, journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent amount of professional experience
- 2-5 years of experience managing a brand's social media presence
- Proven experience growing engagement and retention on social media channels
- Experience using social media management tools such as Hootsuite to schedule content and measure performance
- Experience creating short-form video and visual content for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices
