Development Director

The Development Director leads CFI’s comprehensive fundraising strategy to ensure sustainable revenue growth in support of the organization’s mission. The role oversees donor cultivation, major gifts, grants, events and development operations, building strong relationships with donors, partners and community stakeholders while guiding the Fund Development team to achieve annual fundraising goals.

Requirements

• Develop and execute a comprehensive annual fundraising strategy
• Build and manage a portfolio of prospects and donors
• Oversee the full grant lifecycle, including research, proposal development, submission, reporting and compliance
• Lead planning and execution of fundraising events, annual campaigns and special initiatives
• Supervise development staff and oversee development operations
• Ensure fundraising practices comply with ethical standards, agency policies and industry best practices
• Serve as the lead staff liaison to the Board
