Referral Coordinator

The Referral Coordinator schedules and pre-registers patients for exams and procedures with specialists and providers outside of the primary care physician's office. This role requires at least 1 year of hands-on healthcare experience working with Referrals in a clinical setting, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and bilingual skills in English and Spanish.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on healthcare experience working with Referrals in a clinical setting
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Proficient with medical terminology
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records
• Excellent professional communication abilities
• Knowledge of ICD 10 and CPT coding (preferred)
• Referral experience (preferred)
• Medical Assistant or Professional State Certifications related to healthcare (preferred)
