Job Description
The Simulation Technician role is responsible for technical support and expertise for simulation operations, including integration, maintenance, programming, and operating high fidelity mannequins, audio/visual technology, task trainers, and medical equipment.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Simulation Education, Information Technology, or a healthcare-related field
- Three years of experience in healthcare simulation or information technology can be substituted in lieu of education
- Computer experience required
- Knowledge of video and audio applications required
- Sim Ops training must be obtained within 3 years
- Two years of Simulation or In-situ application knowledge preferred
- High fidelity manikin maintenance experience preferred
- Three years of patient care experience preferred
- Valid MN driver's license in good standing required
