Job Description
The Clinical Simulation Technician works with the simulation team to provide technical support and expertise for simulation operations and technology. They prepare simulation environments, set up and operate equipment, and maintain the simulation environment. The technician collaborates with the simulation team to ensure that the appropriate equipment and supplies are available for each simulation scenario presented.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years Professional experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy/physiology
- Experience in computer technology and troubleshooting
- Previous experience working in a simulation lab
- BCLS - Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic certification
