Resident Service Coordinator

The Resident Service Coordinator (RSC) works with tenants in designated BHA properties to resolve issues affecting their health, well-being, and/or tenancy.

Requirements

• Meet with Property Management staff at least weekly to review and prioritize resident referrals.
• Establish and maintain weekly office hours at assigned buildings.
• Conduct needs assessments of residents and create action plans to resolve identified issues.
• Document actions taken to resolve issues and follow-up actions.
• Provide assistance and information about accessing and navigating systems.
• Coordinate referrals to programs to assist residents with personal care needs and living space maintenance.
• Evaluate and refer residents for mental health interventions.
• Maintain accurate records of hours worked and submit completed Service Worker Time sheets and sign-in sheets.
• Compile monthly summary reports with supporting documentation of services provided.
• Conduct community/neighborhood resource audits to identify and develop partnerships.
• Meet with Property Development staff and the Resident Task Force at least quarterly to discuss and schedule upcoming events.
• Notify residents at least quarterly of the availability of the resident services referral system.
