CCLS Staff Attorney - Consumer/Senior/Public Benefits (Merced)

CCLS, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing free civil legal services to low-income individuals, is seeking a Staff Attorney to serve on its Consumer, Senior, and Public Benefits Team. The Attorney will provide legal representation to clients, engage in outreach and education, and work collaboratively with a team. CCLS is organized in multiple counties including Merced, Fresno, and Visalia, and provides services for seniors and on health issues. The position is a full-time, exempt position.

Requirements

• Active member in good standing of the State Bar of California
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a practicing attorney
• Civil litigation experience strongly preferred
• Collaborative, team-oriented individual
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Bilingual ability strongly preferred
