Job Description
We are hiring for a Machine Operator position in our 2nd shift at our state-of-the-art food production plant in Whitehall, Ohio. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products, operating high-speed processing and packaging equipment, and performing quality control tests.
Requirements
- Inspects food production equipment prior to start mixing to ensure it's in working condition
- Ensures consistency on all doughs by adjusting processing equipment
- Documents lot numbers, raw dough temperatures, and fat percentages
- Reports any accidents or maintenance issues to the production supervisor
- Follows standard food production operating procedures
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems with machinery or equipment operation
- Calibrates processing and packaging systems as required
- Maintains clean and organized work area(s) during food production
- Performs change overs and end of run cleans
- Familiar with using an SAP based bar code scanner and system is preferred
- Logs downtime and other maintenance issues into CMMS system
- Sanitizes machines between runs
- Performs other duties as directed by supervision
