The Process Operations Technician will contribute to the operation of CERN's unique cryogenic installations, monitor and support the operation and maintenance of large-scale cryogenic systems, and participate in a 24/7 shift team supervising process parameters and identifying operational anomalies.
Requirements
- Higher technical diploma or equivalent relevant experience in the field of Process or Electrical Engineering, Industrial Instrumentation, Physical Measurements or a related field.
- Initial experience in operation/commissioning/maintenance of industrial electromechanical or process installations.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment involving process fluids, electricity, instrumentation and control systems.
- Knowledge of cryogenic systems, instrumentation, or vacuum technology would be an asset.
