Senior Electrical Engineer I

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer I to join our Digital and Mixed-Signal Electronics team. As a senior engineer, you will be responsible for full-stack hardware development for complex modules, including design, analysis, layout, build, test, and delivery. You will work on high-reliability space and airborne applications, requiring technical rigor and agility in a startup environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 4 years of industry or university research experience in board-level electronics design, analysis, and test.
• Direct experience designing high-reliability electronics for space or defense applications, including part derating, worst-case analysis, and thermal constraints.
• Experience owning the design phase of circuits or boards, including trade studies, key part selection, and detailed design.
• Experience delivering subcircuit or board designs to production and deployment.
• Experience performing complex PCB layout, such as high-density interconnect (HDI) and high-speed digital or power electronics.
• Experience running board-level signal integrity and/or power integrity simulation tools such as Ansys SIwave, ADS SIPro, or Mentor Hyperlynx.
• Working knowledge of adjacent fields, such as software and mechanical.
• Proficiency in electronics design tools such as Altium.
• Strong lab experience for bring-up and verification of new hardware.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
