Cetera is seeking a Senior Advanced Planning Solutions Consultant to join the Advanced Planning Team (APT) to develop sophisticated wealth strategies for high-net-worth clients, collaborating with affiliated advisors and internal teams.
Requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with affiliated financial professionals (FPs)
- Guide FPs in leading with formal financial planning to better serve affluent investors
- Conduct discovery meetings, facilitate data gathering, and provide strategic recommendations
- Communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively to FPs and their clients
- Respond promptly to advisor inquiries, assess urgency, and manage priorities accordingly
- Proactively initiate outreach to support business development and asset growth
- Partner with internal teams and product specialists to deliver integrated planning solutions
- Collaborate with Cetera Trust Company and other departments to support holistic financial planning
- Document and share advisor interactions to ensure continuity and team alignment
- Serve as a liaison to various internal departments and product specialists to help ensure concerted accomplishments
- Honor promises to FPs, follow through on commitments to internal stakeholders, be receptive to constructive dialogue to drive positive change, and learn from others
- Ensure all planning recommendations and implementations adhere to regulatory requirements, internal compliance standards, and suitability guidelines, particularly when working with complex HNW strategies and alternative investments
- Act as a risk-aware partner to advisors, helping them navigate fiduciary responsibilities and mitigate potential compliance issues
