Job Description
The DCS Specialist position implements and monitors manufacturing processes and operating systems using a Yokogawa distributive control system and several PLCs. The role requires technical leadership and support in the development of process controls for all existing/new installations at the site.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering; Instrumentation, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
- Minimum of five years of experience system controls / system operations
- Minimum two years of controls experience in Refinery/Chemical environment
- Technical knowledge in the fundamentals of controls engineering and controls systems
- Competencies in Industrial Instrumentation, including Industrial Analyzers, Distributed Control Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers, and Safety Instrumented Systems
- DCS/PLC configuration experience
