Network Security Engineer

Cyber Energia is seeking a senior Network Cyber Security Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of Check Point security platforms to protect mission-critical renewable energy infrastructure across Europe and worldwide.

Requirements

• Thorough hands-on knowledge of Check Point products.
• 5+ years of experience with IP-based networks, network design, and security products
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and cybersecurity concepts
• Solid understanding of network infrastructure (routing, switching, load balancing) and security products (firewall, VPN, IPS, Anti-Virus, Application Control)
• Good Linux command line knowledge preferred
• Customer-oriented, with post-sales experience and direct face-to-face service.
• Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and adapt to changes.
• Translate difficult technical concepts into an understandable format for non-technical persons.
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
