The Head of Policy, APAC will lead the policy function across the region, representing Chainalysis and shaping the digital asset market. They will serve as the primary liaison to key policy and regulatory stakeholders, develop and execute market-specific policy and regulatory engagement strategies, and represent Chainalysis in regional policy, legislative, and regulatory discussions.
Requirements
- Significant experience in public policy, regulatory affairs, government relations, or financial crime within financial services, fintech, digital assets, or related sectors
- Direct experience engaging with financial regulators and government stakeholders in APAC, particularly in Singapore, Australia, South Korea, and/or Japan
- Strong understanding of AML/CTF, financial crime, cybercrime, or regulatory frameworks and their impact on technology-enabled businesses
- Demonstrated understanding of and interest in digital assets and their regulatory, compliance, and enforcement implications
- Proven ability to establish credibility, trust, and confidence with senior government officials and regulators
- Track record of supporting and executing successful regulatory or government affairs initiatives
- Experience representing an organisation externally, including participation in regulatory consultations, industry forums, and public–private partnerships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working cross-functionally with legal, product, engineering, sales, and commercial teams in a global or matrixed organisation
