Press Maintenance Intern

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Press Maintenance Intern to join their team. The internship provides a structured but flexible framework focused on improving press health monitoring and establishing foundational tonnage signature practices. The intern will work on developing a baseline understanding of press force behavior and variation, establishing initial tonnage signature baselines for selected tools, and exploring the feasibility of strain-gage concepts with Hitech. The internship is located at the Challenge Manufacturing plant in Holland, MI, and is a 1st Shift / 7am - 4pm M-F position.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a four-year Bachelor’s degree related to Manufacturing Maintenance from a accredited college or university
• Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 to be considered for the Internship program
• Must have superior verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in global manufacturing environment
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
