Weld Production Operator

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Weld Production Operator to load component parts into automated assembly cells in an efficient manner to support the production of customer parts. The Team Member will record production in Challenge’s reporting system and provide timely notification to their supervisor or Challenge’s maintenance department for production issues.

Requirements

• Load component parts into automated assembly cells in an efficient manner
• Record production in Challenge’s reporting system (Plex)
• Provide timely notification to their supervisor or Challenge’s maintenance department for production issues
• Complete quality checks and part packing as prescribed in the work center instructions
• Follow prescribed work center instructions to ensure efficient production while maintaining quality part production
• Use a computer, keyboard, printer and mouse
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of work area by performing housekeeping duties
• Cross train on various work centers as required
• Follow escalation process for problem reporting
