Chamberlain Group is seeking a New Business Sales Manager to acquire new security distributors, build product awareness, and support dealer engagement initiatives. The role requires 5+ years of relevant work experience and a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree. The territory would include North Carolina and South Carolina.
Requirements
- Acquire new security distributors to build out Chamberlain Group's access control strategy for the Community and Facility end-user segments
- Build product awareness, adoption, and sales growth in the security distribution channel through regular engagement with dealers and prospects
- Support dealer engagement initiatives with segment end users in collaboration with Chamberlain Group's New Business Development and National Integrator team
- Represent Chamberlain Group at industry trade shows, councils, and networking events
- Facilitate the trainings for the distributor's sales teams, specifications teams, their dealers, and Chamberlain Group's direct dealers
- Support implementation of go-to-market strategies developed by Chamberlain Group's product marketing, engineering, business development, and new product development teams to achieve successful new product deployment
- Build competitive product knowledge to help position the value of Chamberlain Group's entire portfolio of products/services and expertise to expand market positioning; regularly train, consult and mentor others
- Track and record all distribution activities and sales opportunities in SalesForce
- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
- Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
