Job Description
The Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity (CVOEO) is seeking On-call Housing Advocates to support emergency shelter residents in Burlington, Vermont. These advocates provide client-centered support, assisting with secure housing, benefits access, and connecting individuals to employment, healthcare, and other resources. The role offers flexibility and the opportunity to earn extra income during staff absences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in social or human services or combination of education and experience.
- In-depth knowledge of homelessness, affordable housing, poverty and economic justice.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation.
