ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking an Education Program Director to lead their special education team and drive student achievement in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will provide visionary leadership, supervise staff, and ensure smooth operations. The position involves overseeing site operations, developing and implementing performance management plans, and engaging in continuous professional growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a closely related field of study
- Master's degree or higher in educational leadership, special education, or a closely related field of study preferred
- Currently licensed or in the process of obtaining an AL state education administrator or related credential
- Ability to obtain and maintain certification in company-approved crisis management training
- Minimum five years prior experience in special education services and compliance
- Minimum three years prior experience in school administration or educational leadership
- Comprehensive knowledge of administrative and school operations, functions, and compliance requirements
- Well-versed in applied behavior analysis (ABA), positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS), and other related skills
- Prior experience working with students with individualized education plans (IEP's)
- Advanced oral and written communication, organization, conflict resolution, multitasking, problem-solving, and decision-making ability
