Job Description
ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a School Nurse to support students' academic, social, behavioral, and emotional success in a Special Education Program, Grades K-8. The School Nurse will leverage their nursing expertise to promote student health and wellness, and build trusting relationships with students, families, and staff.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or higher in nursing or a closely related field of study
- Currently licensed or actively pursuing licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is strongly preferred
- Prior experience working in a school and/or education program setting preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain certification in company approved crisis management training and intervention techniques
