Job Description
ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a School Nurse to join our award-winning Special Education team. The successful candidate will leverage their nursing expertise to support students' academic, social, behavioral, and emotional success. Collaborating closely with families, educators, administrators, and community health professionals, you'll help create safe, nurturing, and healthy learning environments that bridge home, school, and community relationships.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or higher in nursing or a closely related field of study
- Currently licensed or actively pursuing licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN); Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is strongly preferred
- Prior experience working in a school and/or education program setting preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain certification in company approved crisis management training and intervention techniques
