Job Description
We are Chandos, a 100% employee-owned company that prioritizes people, purpose, and performance. We are looking for an Apprentice Carpenter to join our team, responsible for constructing and maintaining buildings.
Requirements
- Currently indentured into an Apprenticeship Program, Carpenter.
- Currently working in the trade.
- Two or more years of experience as a carpenter.
- Motivated, Hardworking, able to work long hours and Saturdays if needed.
- Knowledge of carpentry and building maintenance.
- Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of workplace safety, and safe lifting and handling procedures.
- Mathematical and analytical skills necessary to do material and labour estimates.
- CSTS training is a prerequisite for employment.
