Journeyman Carpenter

We are Chandos, a 100% employee-owned company that prioritizes people, purpose, and performance. We're looking for a skilled Journeyperson Carpenter who takes pride in their craft and can deliver high-quality work on various construction and maintenance projects.

Requirements

• Journeyperson Carpenter Certificate (Red Seal preferred)
• Actively working in the trade with strong knowledge of construction practices and safety protocols
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, layout, and materials estimation
• Competency with hand and power tools, and safe work procedures
• WHMIS 2015
• Fall Protection Certification
• First Aid/CPR (preferred)
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Clear communication with superintendent, crew, and other stakeholders
• Adaptability and solid time-management skills
