Logistics Coordinator - In House

We're a world-class asset-based carrier looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our operations team. You'll be responsible for coordinating daily transportation and logistics activities with our clients, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries, and resolving any real-time issues affecting transportation flow.

Requirements

• Serve as the on-site logistics liaison between the client’s plant and internal operations teams.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely pickup and delivery of materials and finished goods.
• Coordinate directly with drivers, warehouse staff, and dispatch teams to resolve any real-time issues affecting transportation flow.
• Track and update shipment status, managing exceptions and proactively communicating delays or discrepancies.
• Support the execution of logistics processes, including documentation, load planning, and customer-specific instructions.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of daily activities, non-conformities, and carrier performance.
• Ensure full compliance with client protocols, plant safety rules, and transportation regulations.
• Identify process improvements within plant logistics operations and communicate them to leadership.
