Job Description
Charles County Public Schools is seeking a Non-Public Tutor to provide supplemental instruction to students. The role involves planning, evaluating learning experiences, and using evidence-based interventions. The position offers 10-month availability with a $34.15/hour rate and a non-exempt, temporary status. It is a part-time position.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and professional certificate in early childhood or elementary education
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work professionally and discretely with confidential information
- Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum, instruction, staff development and assessment process
- Ability to relate well to students, colleagues, and parents
