Job Description
This part-time, 12-month administrative position with the North Point Head Swim Team in Waldorf, MD, assists with developing and implementing a successful coaching program. The role involves overseeing all aspects of the swim team's development, including skill training, practice planning, supervision, communication with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with school and state regulations. The position emphasizes character development and fostering a positive team environment.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable of Charles County Public Schools Extra-Curricular Handbook
- Certified as a professional educator
- Two years of successful coaching as an emergency coach
- One year of successful coaching as an emergency coach at the school
- Knowledge of state policies and enforcement
- Ability to secure building during practices and after
- Ability to follow all rules
- Must pass background check
- Must complete all school records
