Job Description
This part-time Assistant Coach position with the Thomas Stone High School Baseball team involves assisting coaches in developing a strong coaching program, supervising student-athletes, and fostering a positive learning environment. The role requires excellent communication skills, adherence to school policies, and a commitment to sportsmanship and character development. Coaches are responsible for maintaining building security, enforcing rules, and assisting with inventories.
Requirements
- Be knowledgeable of the contents of the Charles County Public Schools Extra-Curricular Handbook.
- Pass proficiency test in the COMAR 13A course.
- Possess a MPSSAA/MSDE Coaching Certification.
- Completed two years of successful coaching as an emergency coach.
