Job Description
The Assistant Softball Coach position is a part-time, non-exempt role within the local baseball/softball program of Charles County Public Schools. The role involves developing a coaching program plan, supervising all levels of the sport, and fostering individual and team growth. The position requires a commitment to upholding school policies, reporting to a head coach, and ensuring positive conduct in all aspects of the school environment.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Charles County Public Schools Extra-Curricular Handbook.
- Certified or qualifying as a professional educator.
- MPSSAA/MSDE Coaching Certification.
- Completed two years of coaching as an emergency coach.
- Two years as a successful emergency coach at the school.
