Job Description
This Part-time position within the Thomas Stone High School softball program involves assisting a Head Coach in developing a coaching program plan. The role focuses on skill development, practice planning, player supervision, and adherence to school policies. The assistant coach will report directly to the Head Coach and model good sportsmanship and ethical behavior.
Requirements
- Be knowledgeable of Charles County Public Schools Extra-Curricular Handbook.
- Pass MD and State of Alabama certificates of education.
- Pass MEPSSA/MSDE coaching certification.
- Completed two years of emergency coaching experience.
- Have a valid Maryland teaching/certifying credential.
- Assist with pre-season meetings, report to practice, and secure school facilities.
