Mechanical Engineer

Role Overview

Wieland is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to support plant operations, process improvements, capital projects, design file maintenance, and personnel development. This role is located in Buffalo and will be fully on-site. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for mechanical engineering effort as necessary to support plant operations, process improvements, capital projects, design file maintenance, and personnel development.

What You Will Do

Engineer and design modifications to existing equipment to improve production and reduce maintenance costs. Direct and coordinate major overhauls and rebuilds to improve quality and yield. Maintain minimum downtime and production delays.

Why It Might Be a Fit

5 years’ experience, BS Degree- Mechanical Engineering. Participate in continuous improvement of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, 9001, IATF 16949 programs and procedures though active participation in the near miss program.
