Mechanical Engineer

Role Overview

Wieland is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to develop, design new equipment, and troubleshoot existing machinery. The role will be responsible for supporting maintenance personnel, conducting feasibility analysis, and communicating technical details to personnel at all levels.

What You Will Do

Develop concepts and designs for machine improvements using AutoCAD/Siemens NX, support maintenance personnel with engineering and technical knowledge, and communicate technical details to personnel at all levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or Associates degree from a technical school with three years of related experience and/or training
• At least 5 years in Mechanical Engineering and/or Maintenance department
• Experience in mechanical design and development
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment – strong ability to multitask complex projects efficiently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic, ability to work collaboratively, energetic and goal-oriented
• Knowledge of Auto CAD, Siemens NX (3D Software) or similar
