Quality Supervisor

Role Overview

Wieland is hiring a Quality Supervisor to supervise Quality Assurance activities, maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification, and handle internal and external complaints. The role is located in Wheeling, IL and is fully on-site.

What You Will Do

Investigate customer complaints, maintain quality records, lead and supervise the quality team, and work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to address quality-related issues.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Material Science or Engineering, experience in implementing ISO certifications, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Requirements

• BS in Material Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
• ASQ certification desirable
• Experience in implementation of ISO certifications, PPAP, Process FMEA and Control Plan
• Familiar with SAP or other IT modules to handle QC functions
• Able to deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events
• Deals effectively with all levels of personnel, internal and external
• Maintain professional contacts with domestic and international representative
• Performs to a high level of self-discipline and ethics to protect the company’s interests
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas and information orally and in writing in one on one and group situations, meetings and conducting presentations
