Job Description
The Community Safety Patrol is a full-time seasonal position that requires a commitment to serve the safety and security of Chautauqua Institution's patrons and staff. The role involves patrolling the campus, enforcing rules and regulations, directing traffic, and responding to emergencies. Compensation starts at $16.50/Hour and may increase to $18.00/Hour with experience.
Requirements
- Patrol the Chautauqua Institution campus
- Assist Armed Security Officer with enforcement of Chautauqua Institution’s rules and regulations
- Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic during peak periods
- Answer basic questions about Chautauqua Institution for patrons
- Handle parking and parking ticket complaints
- Respond to alarms; investigate and resolve the alarm cause
- Assist the Chautauqua Volunteer Fire Department in responding to EMS/Fire emergencies
