Pro Shop Attendant (Chautauqua Golf Club)/Seasonal Employment

The Chautauqua Golf Club is seeking a Pro Shop Attendant to work part-time during the golf season. The position involves greeting patrons, answering phone calls, and processing purchases using a computerized cash register.

Requirements

• Customer focused when greeting patrons and answering the phone.
• Able to respond to patron's questions about the golf services offered, pro-shop merchandise, the condition of the greens, and golf-related events.
• Use a computer to take tee-time reservations and check in players.
• Process purchases using a computerized cash register.
• Ensure accurate records of sales transactions and/or refunds in accordance with department procedures.
• Monitor golf course for the pace of play and activities that could impact the pace of play.
• Informs supervisor of maintenance and inventory needs.
• Reports safety incidents and equipment repair needs in a timely manner to the supervisor.
• Assists in creating a safe, neat, and clean environment.
