Job Description
Chautauqua's Boys and Girls Club is seeking a Specialty Counselor, Tennis to work with youth in second grade to tenth grade. The position involves creating a safe and welcoming environment, planning and facilitating daily activities, and developing and supervising games that enhance tennis basics.
Requirements
- Create a safe, welcoming environment for all program participants, staff members, and families
- Plan and facilitate daily activities for campers across all age groups
- Develop and supervise games that enhance tennis basics
- Foster a better understanding of the strategy involved in singles and doubles play
- Conduct drills to assist campers in becoming more proficient players
- Maintain supply inventory and work with supervisor to place orders as necessary
- Ensure all equipment is in safe, working order
- Understand and comply with policies and procedures set forth by Chautauqua Institution and regulations determined by New York State legislation
