Adjunct Instructor – Pharmacy Technician (PT)

The Adjunct Instructor for the Pharmacy Technician Program is a pivotal role within the academic framework, responsible for delivering high-quality education and fostering student success. This position leverages professional expertise to develop, maintain, and implement a robust curriculum aligned with industry standards and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Certification in Pharmacy Tech (CPhT) and/or a minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmacy technician field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Must be an ABHES and TWC-approved instructor.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively convey complex concepts.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with supervisors, staff, and students.
• Superior organizational, prioritization, and self-motivation abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer literacy skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to cross-departmental synergies.
• Capacity to adapt to changing assignments and priorities while maintaining high performance standards.
• Demonstrated ability to listen, understand, and respond positively to stakeholder requests.
