The Pharmacy Technician Externship Coordinator is responsible for the strategic development and management of externship opportunities for pharmacy technician students, facilitating real-world experiences and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Current and active State Board License along with NHA/PTCB Certification
- 3+ years of prior teaching or training experience
- ACPE IV/Sterile Compounding Certification (preferred)
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems
- Ability to travel 20–50% of the time for site visits and externship-related activities
