Job Description
Check is hiring a Tax Support Specialist to own a portfolio of tax agencies and resolve tax issues for partners. The role requires 3-5 years of experience in payroll tax, tax operations, compliance, or notice resolution, and the ability to communicate effectively with tax agencies and partners. The ideal candidate is organized, methodical, and able to solve complex problems.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in payroll tax, tax operations, compliance, or notice resolution
- Genuine comfort on the phone with tax agencies and in writing to partners
- Experience with federal (IRS/SSA), state, and local agencies
