Job Description
ChenMed is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate is innovative, entrepreneurial-minded, and has a strong work ethic and ambition. They will assist with the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations, process prescriptions, and maintain pharmacy inventory.
Requirements
- Assisting with the practice of pharmacy in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Processing prescriptions and maintaining pharmacy inventory
- Maintaining knowledge of asset protection techniques and creating claims for order errors and damaged goods
- Maintaining a safe and clean pharmacy
- Performing duties assigned by the Pharmacist
- Reporting prescription errors to the Pharmacist
- Following all applicable government regulations
- Engaging patients and resolving issues
- Registering sales and handling cash
- Directing and assisting team members
- Processing claims for 3rd party reimbursement
- Maintaining certification and licensure as required per state regulations
