The Psychologist will conduct psychological and behavioral assessments, participate in treatment planning, and provide therapy for children and youth with complex severe obesity.

Requirements

• Vulnerable Sector Check
• PhD in Clinical Psychology from an APA or CPA accredited Clinical Psychology program
• Registration or eligibility for registration as a Psychologist in Ontario
• Designated practice as a Psychologist in Clinical Psychology with children and adolescents
• Experience in a paediatric health-care setting
• Experience providing services to children and youth with complex medical and mental health conditions
• Training and experience in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance-Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), and Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT)
