The Psychologist will conduct psychological and behavioral assessments, participate in treatment planning, and provide therapy for children and youth with complex severe obesity.
Requirements
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- PhD in Clinical Psychology from an APA or CPA accredited Clinical Psychology program
- Registration or eligibility for registration as a Psychologist in Ontario
- Designated practice as a Psychologist in Clinical Psychology with children and adolescents
- Experience in a paediatric health-care setting
- Experience providing services to children and youth with complex medical and mental health conditions
- Training and experience in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance-Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), and Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT)
