The Program Manager is responsible for development, training, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of Cherry Street Mission’s programming to eradicate poverty and homelessness. This position provides direct supervision of Community Resource Navigators and ensures they have the appropriate training and support to manage caseloads with professionalism and dignity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Health & Human Services, Master of Social Work (MSW) Preferred
- Experience supervising/managing other employees
- Passion for discipleship of others and for demonstrated personal life of faith
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills and an orientation toward detail and follow-up
- Exhibits flexibility, open-mindedness, and positive adaption to change
- Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
- Knowledgeable of community resources and displays ability to collaborate well with external agencies
- Apply problem solving skills that lead to appropriate outcomes
- Respect’s individuals’ rights, honor self-determination and dignity of all people
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including active listening skills
- Responds positively to feedback with willingness to improve (coachable)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and Electronic Health Records
