Physical Therapy Assistant

The Physical Therapy Assistant provides physical therapy services in the home setting, working closely with a Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include treatment planning, patient education, and maintaining medical records. The position requires adhering to the physical therapy plan and maintaining current licenses and certifications.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year practicing as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Current Maryland State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners license
• Documentation of freedom of TB in a communicable form
• Documentation of annual influenza vaccination
• CPR certification
• Current driver’s license
• Current auto insurance
• Ability to Physically Therapist Assistant 2 transfer, lift, move, and turn patients
