Job Description
The Lead Custodial Worker performs extensive cleaning and professional custodial duties in the maintenance of Chicago Public Schools' buildings and facilities, and manages the school's assigned custodial team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) years of custodial work experience
- Some knowledge of the basic methods of building cleaning and housekeeping and basic grounds and landscape maintenance
- Ability to clearly communicate work accomplishments
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to teach others essential function skills
- Moderate skill in using power driven tools and equipment
