Job Description
Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is seeking a Military Instructor to teach JROTC cadets and lead the program in one of its Military Academy High Schools or traditional JROTC programs. The Military Instructor will be responsible for instructing and supporting cadets, organizing and directing JROTC activities, and counseling and mentoring students on their military and academic performance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university (acquired within 5 years of hire)
- JROTC Certification
- Minimum 10 years of service in the military (Army National Guard Reserve, Army Reserve, Navy Reserve, or Marines Reserve)
- Ability to lift and move boxes of curricular material and other equipment
