The School Athletic Director will be responsible for administering the extra-curricular athletic programs, supervising staff, and managing facilities. They will also be responsible for coordinating public events, developing and implementing policies, and overseeing summer programming.
Requirements
- Administering the extra-curricular athletic programs
- Supervising licensed and non-licensed staff in Athletics
- Maintaining files and records required by policy, regulation, law and good practice
- Implementing board policies and advising the administration on regulatory matters related to athletics
- Assessing department needs through consultation with students, staff and parents
- Evaluating the extra-curricular athletic programs and engaging in long-term planning
- Developing and updating handbooks, brochures and policy manuals
- Informs the school community about extracurricular athletic programs
- Staying current on research, issues, and regulations related to athletic programs
