Job Description
Substitute Special Education Classroom Assistant assists teachers in elementary and high schools with students with various disabilities, providing one-on-one services, lifting and positioning students, and providing personal hygiene services.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or 60 semester hours of college credit
- Valid TASN (NCLB) paraprofessional license from ISBE
- 1 year of work experience with children with disabilities
- CPR training
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to complete and maintain basic written reports
