Temporary Regular Teacher (4-5 REG Gen Ed) is responsible for instructional planning, implementing instructional methods, and evaluating pupils' progress. This role is under the supervision of the school principal and involves related duties as required.
Requirements
- Successful completion of all student teaching requirements and all course work required to obtain the appropriate teaching certificate(s) issued by the Illinois State Board of Education.
- Possession of at least one of the following valid teaching licenses issued by the Illinois State Board of Education: Professional Educator License (PEL) or Educator License with Stipulations (ELS), properly endorsed for this position.
- Knowledge of subject matter consistent with state certification requirements, contemporary principles and practices of teaching, and classroom and behavior management techniques.
- Ability to modify instruction to meet student needs, cooperate with the school faculty and administration, and work effectively with pupils, parents and guardians, staff members, and community representatives.
